Organic Shade Grown - El Salvador
Monterey
The Salvadoran coffee growing region contributes to preserving
the life of many locals and migratory species by preserving and
replanting indigenes trees as shade cover. Each coffee bean
represents life, the preservation of natural resources and
purity of the soil , water, and air. Every bean is carefully
processed to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction in the
coffee bean.
Monterey Estates are located in the Tacuba aria, by the El
Imposible National Park where over 500 species of butterflies
and almost 300 birds and other migratory and local mammals take
refuge. The combination of the red volcanic soil and a near
perfect growing climate produces a coffee with warm exotic
fruitiness and overlaying a rich acidity.
The Estate is owned by the Bartes-Bendix family and has been in
the family for three generations. Monterey is a 100% Organic
Bourbon coffee.
